Education & Outreach Center
The Legacy Theatre is the official home of Broadway In The H.O.O.D., which for 11 years has served as the epicenter of community outreach for youth and young adults in the underserved community in theatre and arts education. From acting classes and camps to professional development and teacher training. Broadway In The H.O.O.D.'s programming will continue to reach and inspiring our community!
The Legacy’s curriculum will feature programs for learning to act (on stage or on camera), to sharpening your business communication skills, better educating children, and learning the business of theater. Each season, we will also host monthly performances during select school days for field trips and tours.

THE BACKSTAGE CAFE
The Grand Theatre of Excellence
1000 Seat Immersive Theatre / Event Hall with state of the art audio, video, and lighting, and will double as our classroom for our Technical Theatre students.
The Backstage Cafe will cater to youth during the day and serve as a welcoming, all inclusive safe space for creative youth who love all things artistic!
The Backstage Cafe will also serve as the official pre and post show spot to grab a bite to eat, listen to live music, and even host a luncheon or social gathering.
The Dream Center
Will be located inside The Legacy Theatre and will boast rotating exhibitions highlighting the achievements of African Americans and people of color and their contributions to the entertainment industry. From Broadway to Basketball AAEM will celebrate those who paved the way and those who are paving the way for us all.
AFRICAN AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT MUSEUM
Multi Media Education, Podcast, Video and Recording Studio
The Multimedia Production Studio include four audio production studios and one video production studio which is the ideal space to support the creation of podcasts, music recordings, video presentations, and other types of multimedia research and creative activity.
BLACK BOX THEATRE
DANCE STUDIO
Artistic flexibility is the hallmark of this versatile venue, which is designed to accommodate new and experimental works. It is essentially a large, rectangular black room. It is equipped with a complex overhead lighting grid, as well as movable seating. The latter permits flexibility in the shape and size of the performance space. The actors play ground. Where new works will be created, and smaller productions will be mounted.
Dance Studio will proudly serve our local, and national artist in the dance field by offering a state off the art dace studio with world-class training and performances; artistic residencies. Our aim is to offer a well-rounded training ground for dancers to improve their artistic and physical abilities while growing as critical thinkers, community builders, and artist-entrepreneurs.
Through the cultivation of an inclusive and positive space, our offerings make space for exploration, risk-taking, personal and artistic growth, connection, and fun. It is our priority to listen to and support our community and to empower the future leaders of the field.
